Bounga Informatics Pte Ltd was founded by Frank Butler – Managing Director and Roni Sadrah – Chairman in Singapore back in October 2016. The company is setup with the aim of being a consistent and reliable partner to many agencies and organisations within the Southeast Asian region for Computer Forensics and Digital Investigations
The company was originally located in a 150 sqft serviced office in Beach Road when it first started off. Today we are located in the Central Business District at Shenton Way, housing our own purpose built training room to cater to our clients.
Bounga started off as a forensic software and hardware reseller to mostly law enforcement and government agencies.
Today, we are appointed as the Distributor in Southeast Asia by 3 principal vendors . We have 6 resellers working together with us in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Myanmar. And we expect more resellers to join our network within the region.
Even though it began with a 2 man operation team, our revenue of over $1.6M exceeded many expectations and placed the company in good stead for further expansion. Currently, we have a team of 6 people dedicated to the work we do and performing in their various areas of expertise.
In our first year of operation, Bounga has conducted more than 10 classes of Computer Forensics Training in Singapore, Malaysia and Bangladesh for 200 students.
Back in 2017, Bounga was awarded as Partner of the Year, Training Partner (Asia Pacific) & Training Partner (Worldwide) by Guidance Software Inc. (now known as OpenText Inc). Despite our humble beginnings, we are proud to say that we trained the largest number of students in the Asia Pacific region.
Our participations in various tradeshows puts us close to the attendees and gives us a wider platform to explore many different opportunites with various customers, be it in CIFI Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines, TechLawFest, CyberTech Asia amongst many other events we participate in.
